Angel Dream. . .
“God's teachers choose to look on dreams a while. It is a conscious choice. They watch the dream figures come and go, shift and change, suffer and die. Yet they are not deceived by what they see. Unity alone is not a thing of dreams. And it is this God's teachers acknowledge as behind the dream, beyond all seeming and yet surely theirs.”
“You do not walk alone. God's angels hover near and all about.” A Course in Miracles M-12.6., W.ep.6.
I dreamed I was an angel,
a being made of light,
with wings of pure vibration
to rise to heaven's heights.
I soared upon the winds of joy
and sang a melody
of gratitude and praise to Him
Whose love created me.
I dreamed I was an angel
and all I felt was love,
so all I saw seemed lovely
and all I saw was one.
I floated on the winds of peace
and rested in the grace
of being whole and being one
with God my Source always.
I dreamed I was an angel,
and God sent me to tell
His sleeping Son, "I love you.
Abide no more in hell."
I had to fly through darkness
to reach the fearful mind
that dreamed of desolation
in a world of form and time.
How beautiful the Christ was
beneath His veil of pain,
a light so pure and gentle,
he radiance of God's Name.
With tenderness I blessed him
and whispered in his heart:
"Dear child, your Father loves you.
Now run no more apart."
I dreamed I was an angel
who looked into your eyes
and found in them a treasure
that made me realize
that there is only one of us.
Your dream is but my own,
and I was sent to waken me
and call myself back home.
